Cavanaghs does not lease to private individuals. We can only lease to companies or person's acting on behalf of a company.

You will be required to sign a lease agreement which fully sets out the terms and conditions of the lease. The main points of which are:

• The typical lease period covered is 3 years with a maximum mileage restriction of 75,000kms(lease agreements of shorter duration can be drawn up on request)


• There is a 10 cent per kilometre charge (+VAT) for exceeding the stipulated mileage during that time


• Whilst mechanical items are covered under your lease agreement (upon taking a maintenance contract), damage to bodywork is not and is the responsibility of the lessee


• Ownership of the vehicle vests with the lessor for the duration of the lease


• The lease deal is subject to a full credit check and final credit approval


• Failure to meet an agreed rental will result in a formal notice. Repeated failure may result in the car being re-posessed


• It is expected that the owner keeps the car in good condition and fit for its purpose for the duration of the lease. Failure to do so may result in the car being re-posessed and a possible invoice for damages
