The best designed things in life follow evolution rather than revolution and that is the case with the New Ford Focus. Taking its cues from previous successful iterations of the Focus, the new model has added sharper light clusters, alternative front grille configurations (depending on the model chosen) and the distinctive Ford ‘Blue Oval’ badge has also moved from the edge of the bonnet to the centre of the grille.

New Focus Ecoboost Hybrid

The new Focus Ecoboost Hybrid is available with an advanced powershift automatic transmission. This seven-speed automatic dual-clutch transmission is precision engineered to deliver a more efficient, less demanding drive that complements the hybrid engines electrically-boosted performance. The Focus will also benefit from Ford’s alternative Drive Mode technology, which allows the motorist to choose between Normal, Sport and Eco modes, and Active models get an off-road focused Trail function too.

Different front stylings on offer

There are some subtle exterior differences between key models allowing the owner to chose a model which fits their style. The Connected and Titanium versions get a wide upper grille with a gloss chrome surround, horizontal grille bars, and upturned side air vents. Sporty ST-Line models can chose the popular honeycomb pattern with a deep lower air intake. Whilst the crossover-styled Active model gets a big grille with upright bars, and taller side vents to match its chunky-style trims and cladding.

Panoramic Touchscreen

Prepare to be blown away by Ford's latest lifesize touchscreen! Set in the centre of the dash, it's a 13.2-inch mega screen running the latest SYNC4 software (which appears on the Mustang Mach-E). The software includes 'advanced speech recognition' which, when combined with always-on internet connectivity, translates into quick, accurate responses to all of your voice commands.
