New Transit – Bigger & Better
The All New Transit promises to be bigger and better than ever before! The all new version is a larger vehicle than the outgoing model and this represents the growing trend amongst 2-Tonne Van buyers to opt for greater cubic capacity. We foresee the 350LWB RWD being the key selling model in the range.
All new Transit will continue to deliver the same durability and quality, but greatly enhanced offering:
- Outstanding Whole Life Costs, with over 44.1mpg or as little as 6.4l/100km in the new ECOnetic, and extended 2yr/50,000km main service intervals
- A range of 2.2TDCi Duratorq diesel powertrains offering outstanding CO2/Fuel Economy, from 169 g/km CO2
- Innovative cab and load box design, with dual passenger seat under seat storage and loadspace offering roughly 10% more volume compared to the outgoing Transit with up to 4.2m load-length, and 5-pallet capability on L4 (ELWB). The L2 (MWB) Van can now accommodate 4 Euro pallets and 3m load lengths
- Extensive bodystyle range of L2-L4 (MWB-ELWB) Van in H2 or H3 (Medium or High) roof height, 11-18 seat Minibus plus the single chassis cab available from L1 to L4 lengths
